dig our first blog

Hi welcome to digourscene vintage clothing blog. We hope 2012 is a vintage year for you.

Check out our blog for our latest vintage arrivals and general vintage clothing chat.

Who are we? Dig_our_scene have been selling on ebay since 2007 and have been interested in vintage clothes since 1980's first through vintage 60's Mod gear and in later years vintage casual and indie threads.
In the initial excitement Martin, Lana & Helen were all involved in dig_our_scene. These days Martin does most of  the graft while the others watch daytime TV!!!!! With the exception of young Owen who helps with IT issues.

We pride ourselves on being up front with honest detailed listings

We sell mainly on ebay offering detailed listings. We grade as follows
Dead stock: likely to be unworn no real signs of wear.
Excellent condition, used but light signs of wear.
Excellent vintage condition, excellent for age may have tiny mark or repair
Great vintage condition, may well have some marks or repairs all of which will be highlighted in listing.

We like to show and highlight any repairs or marks to garments. We believe in honestly no point telling porkies, misleading a buyer and shipping an item halfway round the world.

It's same with measurements we mention size on garment but in many cases we tend to ignore them and give detailed measurements and then size the garment. As some vintage brands are more fitted and some garments have more roomy than the size label suggests.

What do we offer? Hand picked Vintage classics in a range of sizes we don't just focus on the XS skinny fit and often have clothes in larger 2xl and above sizes.
1980's sportswear Chemise Lacoste, trefoil Adidas, Puma, etc with loads of casual/mod/indie appeal. Skinny ties and scarfs, caps and pork pipe trilby hats,  Harris Tweed and tweed blazers, jackets, coats, paisley & college scarves, winter sweaters, cagoules, sweatshirts, shorts, american t-shirts, trainers, western shirts........

This and more can be found in our ebay shop http://stores.ebay.co.uk/dig-our-scene

Check out our vintage clothing, chat, guides and articles which in appear throughout the year.

Until then stay cool and be safe and Dig_our_scene cos we dig you.

Cheers Martin
